Mindy McDaniel is a photographer who specializes in the documentation of artworks for museum collections, exhibitions, and individual artists.
I am a freelance photographer and educator with over 20 years of experience living and working in New York’s Capital Region. I specialize in the photographic documentation of artworks for museum collections, exhibitions, and individual artists, creating web and print-ready images that preserve the integrity and detail of each object.
I earned an MFA in Photography from The Ohio State University and a BFA in Studio Art from Florida State University. Alongside my freelance work, I’ve taught photography at the college level for many years, fostering curiosity, technical skill, and creative exploration in my students. My own artistic practice is rooted in photography and continues to evolve through both personal projects and collaborative work within the arts community.
My photographs have been published in the books featured below.
